i Fonts !

Looking at the other animations I noticed that they have very little words, and when they do it just tells you what the program is called, as seen below.

I saw that there fonts that they have chosen are quite bold and don’t have any little flicks (like this font)on the letters which makes it a sans serif, and having the white I guess gives it that calm feel to it.

So now with these in mind i started to become more aware about selecting a font. For instance you what do you want the font to be about, do i want it to be easily read by having the right colours and not a sophisticatied font, also do i want the font to go with the words.

The things of which im certain of, is that the font im going to be using will be "Bold" and "Sans serif"

The buzz chart

I finally fount an animation for the buzz chart animation :D here it is

Another object for my robot/humanoid projector idea.

With this image i like the idea of the mickey mouse dissappearing slowly into the air, like a fade away, which i can apply to a random object ^^

The idea of having loads of tiny televisions on the animation was a click to me, something which i got from this image, which seem to be quite cartoony :p

I like how random this image is with 2 different worlds in one. one being cartoony and the other being ours. I can use this idea to create a enviorment on 3-d max with the animation of so and so on adobe after effects :p

Another image i fount which resembles the black lines idea, but this time i taken the image becuase this time they make faces instead of objects

On idea 8 when i mentioned i wanted an object to be squeezed, the image below is something of some resemblance of i wanted to be squeezed but have it more like a exclamation mark and with no face.

Instead of having a full human head i did think of having the idea of a wierd robotic humanoid head, something like the image below but not as scary, and with headphones.

The lines in here reminded me of those line on a hospital device which measures your heart rate, due to it being all zig zaggy, it is also bright and colour full on a dark background, again similar to some of the music animations. Another idea whihch i may use to come up with an idea :p

The objects in this image stand out to me because its like a contrast between that and the dark background which is seen in some of the animations that they have for the muscial programs, e.g. the buzz chart, UK top 20. The spiral shape remind me of sound waves, hmmmmmmmmm

This image resembled on the my idea of having a black ink go round on a white piece of paper and draw random images, also i like that random little blue bird that it is there :D

This also resembled the idea with the black lines drawing random objects whike traveling around the screen, but the thing i like about this image as well is that it contains 3-d objects which the lines have used to come out from :D

I took this image becuase it captured by eye on how bright the colours were and, how the toop part of the cup is blurred out

This reminded me of the Tmf animation, which contains many small rectangle boxes, but in this case snmall circles which are connected, by a blakc line. With something like this i was thinking of having a big cylinder in the middle with small televisions hanging off the black lines instead of the circles.

I like the idea of the 3-d objects being transparent and its simplistic feel that it has by just having cubes with a simple background.

Just some ideas :D

These are just some ideas that i came up with. The animation ideas will be for the music channel for when it comes on after the adverts and when it comes on. The animation is also usually the same for when the program goes to the adverts and when it finishes.

Idea 1
Have a large rectangle to be hit by a projectile/pendulum. Apply an reactor and have the tiny little squares which make up the rectangle be like a feather weight. Also have the objects traveling at a very slow pace. The camera will then travel around the flying squares like in the matrix when the camera go round Keanu reeves when he is dodging the bullets.

Idea 2
2 enormous objects collide into each other, upon impact the outer layer of the objects break off into tiny parts, like it cracked like an egg, which the both revel an orb of light, which then floats up like a balloon, making the screen go white.

Idea 3
A ball of light similar to a shooting star flies around fast and unpredictably. First you see the star go left then right but traveling forward so it is going diagonally left and right. The star after doings its quick wild movements will then fly towards the screen, which then the camera follows the light, as the camera is following the colour of the star will start to change. Finally the star will fly into a machine, powering it up, which then the camera goes to the top of the machine blinding the sky with a white light.

Idea 4
Objects from different angles and colours come flying in to come together to create something e.g. logo.

Idea 5
Camera Follows and electric charge through a tunnel network (can be wires) the journey is quite short through the tunnel. The tunnel then leads into a bigger room, something like in star wars episode 6 when the space vehicles are traveling through the tunnels to get to the big generator which is in a humongous room. The electric charge you will then find out that isn't alone, there are others, which then all go into the middle which turns on a weird spinning TV machine ( instead of having it in a room the spinning TV it can also be set outside similar to the matrix.)

Idea 6
A weird metallic ball with lights rolls round and collides in to objects which then turn the lights on, the process gets faster and faster, which then leads the camera to go to birds eye view and you will see that the lights come together to make an image.

Idea 7
The background is white, and then you will see black lines come out of no where, not just 1 but multiple going in different directions. as the lines are traveling random colours are like spat out of it. When the lines finally collide the camera goes bird eye view and you see that the lines made a TV.

Idea 8
An object in the middle looking like a 3-d exclamation mark, A weird snake like object goes a round wrapping it self around the 3-d object, which then squeezes the object having random videos being thrown out of it.

Idea 9
Lt blue, bright red, bright yellow, bright green, bright orange lines running up the side of the humanoid robotic body. The lines will reach the headphone region, spin around the headphone, turning the human head on, you will also see musical notes and tubes of random colours popping out of the head. The camera will then pan to from of the head, which then the mouth will open with a white light coming out. The camera will then go to the shoulder view, and you will notice that the head is like a projector.

Well I’m planning to do most of the basic shapes, materials, camera work in 3-d max, and for drop downs, the song title and number, the sound effects and other flashy stuff in adobe after effects.

! Target Audience i

With the age category this would usually target people within the early teens to the early thirties, this is usually because when people are young they always want the new technology (e.g. phones) and always be updated, but as you get older you get less bothered on what new out.

But for the style/genre of people this would usually aimed at people who are into music, or people that are in the music industry.
